Ensemble

The Allcomers Events in the past encouraged CoMAMaastricht to initiate an Ensemble for Contemporary Music for All, the CoMAMaastricht Ensemble. Its aim is to offer opportunities for amateurs to engage in playing contemporary music and also to cooperate with composers. The composers are challenged to write open score music for flexible ensemble, which can be performed by amateurs. The Ensemble works under the leadership of the young and enthusiastic conductor Txemi Etxebarria.

Everybody is encouraged to participate, from starter to experienced amateur. If necessary, the parts will be adapted to fit the capabilities of the player. Also all instruments are welcome; if necessary the parts will be transposed.
